Aakash Healthcare Leverages 3D Printing to Improve Treatment for Dorsal Scoliosis

Aakash Healthcare Hospital has successfully used Stratasys' J5 MediJet 3D Printer to create 3D printed presurgical models and jigs to help correct a severe case of scoliosis deformity in a 12-year-old patient from Kyrgyzstan. The custom-made 3D-printed jigs not only helped plan the screw's size, length, and direction but also assisted with lowering the risk of neurological complications and associated problems.
